Calgary, you are taking action to help ensure that all children in our city are fed and cared for and we are grateful.

3,800 kids are currently impacted each school day by the BB4CK Community.

Last fall, we started the school year impacting 3,200 kids each school day and over the last year, the number of children requiring lunches and supplemental items has increased by nearly 20%. Over the last two years, the number of kids BB4CK impacts has increased by over 50%.

We are able to meet this growing need thanks to our incredible community. As the number of children in need has increased, our city has taken action to help ensure there are no hungry kids in Calgary. Volunteers share their time at our downtown kitchen and in community kitchen across the city, making lunches. Community kitchens care for 58% of the approx. 200 schools we currently care for.

Volunteers deliver lunches with their own vehicles and Calgarians raise funds, snacks/supplies, and awareness through events, fundraisers, celebrations, and more.
