Volunteers are the back bone of BB4CK. Without volunteers, kids wouldn’t recieve the healthy lunch they need to learn, play and grow.

Volunteer Opportunities

BB4CK Downtown Kitchen

It takes a large team of volunteers to ensure we are able to make enough lunches to feed hungry kids each day. From early bird volunteers, core kitchen volunteers and volunteer drivers.

Delivery Driver

Delivery Driver Volunteers are fundamental to our downtown kitchen operations – this role ensures that the lunches made in our kitchen are delivered on-time to the schools needing them. Delivery Drivers ensure that there are no hungry kids on the day they are delivering!

Community Volunteer

Volunteers in Communities across our city take action every day to feed and care for hungry kids. Every week Calgarians share their time making and delivering lunches in the BB4CK satellite Kitchens in their own neighbourhoods. Volunteers shop for groceries, assemble lunches, deliver them to schools and fundraise to support their BB4CK lunch programs.

Other Opportunities

Help to increase BB4CK’s visibility in the community through our social media ambassador program, or become a BB4CK ambassador for events and through engagement with attendees raise awareness. You can also be an administrative volunteer and help staff with specific projects. Gaining administrative experience.

Virtual Opportunity

The goal is to boost BB4CK message on social media, where volunteers will advocate by using their voices creatively and intentionally online.

Volunteers choose actions to complete (ranging from sharing our website to posting a selfie to simply commenting on a BB4CK post), tag #BB4CKAmbassador.
