Calgary Flames forward Sam Bennett, in partnership with Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids and the Calgary Flames Foundation, has launched a wonderful new initiative to help ensure every Calgary child has a lunch at school.
This past November, Bennett aligned with BB4CK as an official ambassador and with the Calgary Flames Foundation, donated $70,000 to help feed and care for kids in our city!
Through March 31st, Bennett is on a mission with his #SamFeedsKids campaign to raise awareness and funds for 25,000 lunches for kids in our city. Calgarians can donate to Sam’s campaign by visiting calgaryflames.com/samfeedskids and have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets to win various Flames prizes. The first raffle is for the chance to win 2 tickets to the April 7, 2018 Flames game and a Meet & Greet with Sam Bennett. Additional chances to win will also be available on social media by using the hashtag #SamFeedsKids.
On the #SamFeedsKids launch day, Bennett joined us in the kitchen with some young hockey players to prepare lunches and talk about the 25,000 lunch goal. Check out the CTV story here and Bennett talking about the campaign on Fan 960 here.
