Calgary Firefighters Deliver School Lunches with BB4CK

Sep 12, 2025

Yesterday was a special day in our kitchen! While every lunch we prepare is made with love and care, this delivery had a little extra spark — and sirens! The Calgary Fire Department joined us to deliver school lunches for kids across the city. With the help of their fire truck, firefighters made sure kids received the food they need to learn, play, and grow. CityNews was there to capture the excitement, and we’re thrilled to share their coverage with you:

Back to School Campaign: Learn. Play. Grow.

This September, we’re kicking off our Back to School Campaign: Learn. Play. Grow. Until September 29, our goal is to raise $624,000 — enough to provide a full month of nutritious lunches for nearly 8,000 kids every school day. That’s about 156,000 lunches for Calgary kids who need them.
With the support of our community, this campaign shines a light on how nutritious lunches help kids learn better, play fully, and grow stronger — ensuring every child in Calgary starts the school year with the food they need to succeed. ❤️ Let’s make this school year strong for kids!
