Interested in Making a Difference in Your Community?
Join a Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids volunteer community group and play a vital role in ensuring children have access to nutritious meals and snacks.
Each week, Calgarians generously volunteer their time to make and distribute lunches from the BB4CK satellite kitchens located within their local communities. Our volunteers shop for groceries, prepare sandwiches, deliver food to schools, and organize fundraising events to connect kids with food right in their own neighbourhoods.
We know that over 1 in 3 children in Alberta experience food insecurity. It is our mission to connect kids to food and inspire our community to contribute to food security for kids who would otherwise go to school without enough food in their lunch.
